In memory of Ian Crawford
This site is created to honour Ian Crawford - husband, father, friend, very much loved by all who knew him. His sudden departure on Friday 4 August was a shock, especially as he was so fit and healthy. It came after a wonderful dance evening with friends where he was so full of life, happiness and mischief! He would be honoured that an air ambulance came out to him, particularly as both the pilot and paramedic had served in the military.
Ian, we all miss you so much and are comforted by knowing you did not suffer xx

So highly thought of and what a privilege it was to be in your company. We enjoyed quiet chats and more lively exchanges, always in good fun! You will be missed and never far from our thoughts, especially at dance practice and the social dances we attend.

Ian, thank you for all the fun times we shared together. Your sense of humour and kindness touched everyone and you will be missed by all. Our social dance sessions and holidays will not be the same without you. RIP dear friend.

Dad, we are heartbroken and I honestly don’t know what we are going to do without you. We have been overwhelmed by lovely messages from so many people who will also miss you. Your reach was far and wide, and I am proud of the difference you made to so many people. Most of all, I am proud that you were my Dad. Love you Dad xx
